From venue operations to platform innovation
Our Story
venMan did not start as a software company. It started in the day-to-day of a real cultural venue in Karlsruhe, a stage for concerts, club nights and artistic expression since 2025. venMan grew out of it, and today it is our first customer and our reference: c2-ost.club
Running a modern cultural venue takes tools that did not exist in that form: equipment rentals, staff scheduling across many events, settlements with promoters, sound system management and real-time coordination. So they were built, step by step, while the venue kept running.
What works for us, we offer to others: every feature runs in the venue's real operations first, before it becomes part of venMan. The people behind the venue and the software are the same.
That is how venMan came to be: not from a whiteboard in a startup office, but from the real challenges of running a cultural venue. Every feature solves a problem we have faced. Every workflow reflects lessons learned from actual operations.

But we haven't forgotten our roots – we're still running the C2 Ost Club, still learning, and still building tools that make event management better.
